 Course overlay:

 

Each series is comprised of 3 race days approximately 2 weeks apart.  Races are conducted on Edenton Bay and start at noon on race day.

Club Races: The first race of the day will start at 12 noon. All boats start at the same time.

The race course will be announced over the radio on channel 68 prior to the start.

Start Sequence:

About 1 minute before the sequence begins, 3 short horn blasts will be given to let everyone know that races are about to start.
    • 5 minutes before the before the start of a class the class flag is raised, accompanied by a horn blast.

    • 4 minutes before the start the “P” flag is raised, accompanied by a horn blast.
    • 1 minute before the start the “P” flag is removed, accompanied by a horn blast. • At the start of the race the class flag is removed, accompanied by a horn blast.

Note: All engines must be stopped 4 minutes before the to-go blast (“P” flag)
